The authorities in Caln Township, located in Chester County, have uncovered a skimming device within a Wawa store for the second instance.
This discovery occurred on Thursday at the Wawa store situated along Lincoln Highway. Law enforcement officials have determined that this device had the capability to illicitly capture debit card details and PIN numbers.
It’s worth noting that a similar skimming device had been previously discovered at the same Wawa store back in May.
To ensure their financial security, customers are strongly encouraged to review their bank statements if they have any concerns regarding the presence of skimming devices.
